Dump trades
So, do we have any "rules" as far as dump trades go? Obviously they are a part of any keeper league (and are the reason that my offense doesn't quite look like Spencer's), but if wehave some sort of system I think it would help. What do people think about a team either posting to the blog or sending out an email when they are looking to dump, and maybe have no trades made until a week after that? That way, everyone can have a chance to get in touch with the dumper and try to work out a deal.

Not sure why we need any official rules or if it would really be appropriate to come up with any at this point of the season. Isn't it essentially up to the dumper to make sure they are maximizing value by letting everyone know?
Agreed. If you're stupid about dumping, well, that is kind of your own fault.
I agree that there isn't much done to enforce any real rule here. Teams that think another team may go on a fire sale can be proactive and teams that want to go on a fire sale can at least make it known to the rest of the league. It's just better for the league as a whole to avoid any trading partner biases.
