Or triple, if you'd like to include the Red Sox. Congrats Caleb - you put together a hell of a team. I was hoping I'd make more of a run, but my pitching just didn't cooperate in September (5.21 ERA, 1.49 WHIP, 8 W, 4 saves - easily the worst month of the season for me in all four categories).

2011 Red Sox "Contributors" (wins above replacement):
John Lackey = 15.25 million (1.5)
Carl Crawford = 14 million (0.4)
JD Drew = 14 million (-0.2)
Daisuke Matsuzaka = 10 million (0.2)
Mike Cameron = 7.75 million (-0.9)
Bobby Jenks = 6 million (0.1)
The combined payroll of these 6 busts are 1.5 times the payroll of the Rays. Theo is looking pretty mortal these days.
Congrats Caleb. Another notch on the belt.
Congratulations Caleb!
Well done, Caleb. You put together a great year, starting last year with the trade for Bautista, to a draft with several gems (Verlander, Shields, Joyce), to some great pickups (Alex Avila, Casey Kotchman), and finally the dump trades to seal the deal.
Somebody needs to update the hall of champions! And by the way, it's crazy that Spencer has finished first or last every year.
Thanks guys. That was the most fun I've had with fantasy baseball yet. Too bad I can't translate it into enthusiasm for fantasy football. Mostly because I've butchered my team. Looking forward to next year already.
Hey Bill, think you'll go back and evaluate the rest of the season's trades? I'd be curious to see them all put together, and to try to make sense of the Luke/Spencer carousel of Vernon Wells and JJ Hardy. Also, I want more credit for the Bard/Willingham trade.
