Waivers
What's the deal with waivers? Are we just doing the yahoo thing (i.e. pick up anyone who is a FA whenever we want, waivers are for players that are dropped, added to the league)?
Yeah, we're going with the Yahoo system. Players go on waivers when they are dropped by a team or added by Yahoo for 1 full day. So if you drop a player wednesday afternoon, people will have to thursday midnight to submit their picks (not sure what time zone it goes off of).
We are going to let people add players from the NL this year and no proxy picks. So if someone is called up to the majors, Yahoo will add them and they will go on waivers for 1 day.
yes, free agents can be added at will. There is no option to do it otherwise and it would be to much work to have a email system like football considering the number of adds/drops people will end up doing over the course of the season.
