A paltry 5 days left in the season and this year is TOAST. The crown awaits patiently for the inaugural Durham Plays for Keeps Champion. We have a three way race to the finish that could be determined in the final inning of the final game. A stolen base here, a run there, a hit and a strikeout away from glory or shame. The line between internal infamy and forgettable goat doesn't get any thinner than this.
There WILL be an actual "trophy" for the eventual winner (Not sure what it will be yet, but I'll find something).
Also - very important - There is going to be a live game blog on Sunday as I watch each and every game through MLB.TV and Stat Tracker. I'll try to report on each relevant at bat, run, pitch, etc... After the season over there will be a ballot on a couple of rule changes to vote on.

You have to marvel at YOOUUKK's recovery from last place...or Andrew's fall, maybe. I never thought Andrew's team was this bad.
Even for me, pretty well locked into 4th place, it's interesting to watch what happens with you three. And the entire National League. And whether the Red Sox can hold onto the division. I have a huge exam Monday, but I'm going to be very busy watching sports.
Caleb, if you could go ahead and have a few blow up starts and drop your ERA to 3.86...i could really use that extra 1/2 point, haha
I'll sit down and have a chat with Verlander, but against the White Sox he could probably throw underhand and go still go seven strong.
