I think so. That start from Shields was amazing. Put enough space between him and others that he's not getting caught in any pitching categories. Offensively, I haven't looked as closely.
I think that Bill could come up with a half point in wins and a point in homeruns to tie Caleb... what is the ESPN tiebreaker? Did anyone figure that out.
Bill needs runs, not home runs... at the moment 2 runs behind Andrew. Really needs Tillman to lose as it looks like Kuroda will get the win. Bill would gain a point in wins and would need another half point to take the title... Caleb holding on by a thread but it might be enough... still don't know what the tiebreaker is, couldn't find it in the rules.
bill was over his innings limit so Kuroda's win was not counted. Not sure it would have made a difference though.
Very exciting end to the season regardless. Thank god the Booby V disaster is over. Classy way to exit Bobby - throw your entire coaching staff under the bus. What an a-hole. Other than the red sox, extended wildcard worked great. Two division titles in the AL came down to the last day that otherwise would not have mattered at all. Looking forward to some NATITUDE!
UGH. Over the limit? Thanks to 2 IP from relievers and I miss out on a win. Two fewer outs and the entire Kuroda start counts. Well, at least it didn't cause me to miss out on winning.
