Hoping to make a deal? You'd better be talking to me, Luke, or Spencer. All eleven of the trades since the draft have involved one of us, and three trades have happened between the three of us. Spencer and Luke are leading the way, with six apiece, and I've made four.

Team morale is way up now that Lackey's off the team. Taylor, he's going to divide your clubhouse.
Everyone in the clubhouse understands John's place on the team right now, and nobody understands it better than John. We're working with him to figure out the issues he's been having, and we're all hopeful that he'll be a valuable contributor to the team before too long.
For now he's going to sit. He knows that. He's okay with that. He understands how this business works. Jason [Vargas], Joshy [Tomlin], and Jer [Guthrie] are throwing pretty well right now, and if they keep throwing well we plan to keep using them. Everyone's happy [Lackey]'s here.

Really, Spencer and I have made 5 trades each. The Webb + Peralta for Hardy + Young deal was actually one deal. We had to split it up into 2 so I could put Webb on the DL in order to make room for Peralta without dropping anyone.
And now Grady Sizemore is back on the DL, and I don't have a 5th outfielder. Shit.
Looks like the Red Sox are following your advice and sitting Lackey for the time being.
