Spencer was certainly blessed on the trading market, with the knack to trade guys right before they got hurt for the season. The Youkilis-Felix deal in particular helped crown him.
Agreed. This success story is the stuff that sports movies are made of. I only wish you hadn’t told me to make that Gardner trade or revoke your offer on Mo. Actually…I no longer congratulate you and I am rethinking our friendship.
Thanks everyone. It was a fun season and I'm looking forward to Bill's full season graph of the standings.
The fanbase suffered through 2 long years in the basement, so glad to reward them for their faith. Speaking of, I need to watch that 30 for 30 documentary about 2004.
I would like to point out that my season did follow my team name. We decided, committed via trading Carlos Santana, and then succeeded. Think about that the next time you name your team "oh no mr. bill".

Indeed, congratulations to Spencer for a huge season-to-season turnaround and an impressive recovery from an awful start to the year.
Nice season, everyone. See you next year.

Ah fantasy sports. Keeps folks in touch until they decide they hate each other.
Please. It keeps folks in touch even AFTER they decide they hate each other.

also, I would like to note that Taylor's "congratulatory" post is 90% referring to past poor performance.
Sheesh, you prefer Andrew's grudging kudos and back-handed compliments?
Hey Spencer- speaking of ridiculous team names does Baseball still suck?
I will be unveiling my new team name next year...get ready. But it will not be Baseball Sucks.
I am working on those graphs. I'm hoping to have them done by the end of the weekend, although I've got a lot of other stuff on my plate right now.
Congratulations, Spencer.
Now, where is Cliff Lee going to sign?
