We still have a while to hash out all the rules, but here are the proposed changes, in one place. If you want to make edits/comments on the working draft of all the rules it can be found here: https://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0ARaSlKoIBgJRZGhndjg4cF8yNzAzNmN2MjVoYg&hl=en
1 - Auction Format
2 - Keeper Format
3 - Weekly waiver wire (i.e. all unrostered players will go on "waivers" at the start of each week and people will bid on them.)
4 - Free Agent Acquisition Budget/ Salary Cap... details need to be worked out a bit more.
5 - Change roster format from 1 CI and 1 MI to 1 INF?

I love these pictures for the blog posts.
agreed. just made a few comments. i'm pretty excited about this new format, i have to say.
do we want to consider changing any of the categories (i.e. obp instead of average, total bases, etc.)?
also, can we roster / draft minor leaguers / proxies?
Already floated the idea out to use OBP and TB... got shot down pretty hard.
I'd say no to using proxies. Will make the FAAB more interesting. Just keep it to the players available through ESPN.
Did we end up deciding to do ESPN?
Yahoo doesn't allow you to do weekly waivers... just free agent bidding for players that go on waiver through drops, trades over from the NL, and minor league call ups i believe. ESPN lets you put all players on the waiver wire each week, which is what we want to avoid first come first serve.
