Welcome, Expansion
I'd officially like to welcome Kate (who does throw like a girl) to our league and to this blog. Kate, feel free to peruse hours of wasted chatter below on the blog historicals. We look forward to your inevitable last place finish this year, helping me to climb out of the gutter to 2nd to last.

Totally fair. I blew at football…totally fucking blew. With that said I loved every minute of it and am very excited to try my hand at baseball. There are no QBs in baseball right? I kid. I am going to get learnin’ about fantasy baseball and figure out what kind of disadvantage I am at due to me being an expansion team…then I will proceed to wine about said disadvantage. Mark and Spencer have taught me well.
You will actually be put in a pretty good position to succeed - not saying you can capitalize on it, but there will be no excuses in this league Hopkins. This is not football.
Welcome Kate! Remember, as poorly as you did in football last year, Spencer managed to do even worse in baseball. He managed to score 16 points last year, out of a maximum of 60. And 10 of those were guaranteed. So your goal can be to finish ahead of Spencer this year, but that might not be all that great of an accomplishment...

Because I will need help finding my footing during the draft and understanding the McDowell’s mathematics, I will not trash talk Spencer (yet)….but Caleb? Its best time you got dethroned.
No need to trash talk Spencer because, as Bill points out, his score last year speaks for itself. Spencer went from our inaugural champion to Detroit Lions in one season, quite an accomplishment.
Don't worry about all the haters Kate; Bill and Mark are just bitter about the big black hole of empty space in their trophy cases.
I might be bitter if I knew that Kate could randomly select 5 players and have better keepers than me. But thankfully, I am not you.
