Interleague play is over.

The AL spanked the NL once again, 149-102.

The Royals went 13-5, and the Mariners managed to play .500 ball.

Red Sox pitchers, by the way, were 0-25 at the plate, with one strained back.

Oh, and of the entire NL, only the Mets, Reds and Braves won more interleague games than they lost. Ouch.

Terrible weekend for the sox. Bullpen looking very questionable. Will anyone step up and be this years okajima?

I went to the Dodgers Angels game yesterday -- no wonder K-Rod has 32 saves - guy comes in to get one out. Most of the dodger fans arrived 30-45 minutes late (shockingly)..

In all three Dodgers/Angels games this weekend one team was shut out. Ouch.

I can't believe the Dodgers actually won a game where they were no-hit. Furthermore, how is it even possible that the game wasn't considered a no-hitter?

I propose that whenever a pitcher comes to bat, they get to hit off of a tee. At least that would make things interesting. Instead, we have a situation like last night when Beckett comes up in the top of the sixth with runners on the corners and 1 out score tied. He feebly tries to bunt and then strikes out on a slider about 2 feet outside the strike zone. Just a terrible display of baseball I could do without.

the game on saturday wasn't technically a no-hitter because the dodgers didn't bat 9 times. So the angels pitchers threw an 8 inning no-hitter but because the dodgers won...no bottom of the 9th. for some reason i feel very satisfied that this happened to jered weaver.
