Injuries and Weekly Leagues
Sunday morning I set my lineup for the week ahead. Yes, I know Posada had been battling injuries as of late, but he played in 5 consecutive games and was supposed to be in the lineup Sunday. Today I find out that he was a late scratch from Sunday's game and is headed to the DL (for the first time in his career). So there goes 6 games at catcher, 20 or so at bats I'll never have back for a player I drafted specially to eat up lots of games at that position. Awesome.

yup, first time on the DL in 14 years or something. I know it just seems like this, but half the injuries in this league seem to happen sunday nights so you have no idea what to do with your weekly line-ups. I've got kendrick off the DL on Tuesday, apparently Micahel Young left the game yesterday in the 6th, who knows what the hell is going to happen with sheffield, i hate weekly leagues basically.
The weekly league can be frustrating like that, although at least everyone is dealing with it. I went to set my lineup before I went to bed at 12:15 Pacific, and my lineup was locked. Fortunately I'm reasonably happy with it, but there was a move or two I was considering that I didn't get to make.
