Well, Appendicitis is better than horrendous starts. I love when teams start pitchers, they play horribly, and THEN they tell us about the injury problem that was the issue. TELL US!!
Nothing beats starting Corey Patterson on Monday only to find out Monday afternoon he's taking the week off for "Bereavement Leave" - that's the ultimate joy of the weekly line-up.
Or when teams say their closer had a minor back injury in ST but is just fine, has two shitty appearrances, then goes on the DL for elbow pain and gets TJ surgery two weeks later?
