How I hate Ozzie Guillen.

Beuhrle (who's been a very decent pick, remarkably) had a nice outing today, until he came back out for the 7th inning, and after throwing over 105 pitches, coughed up a couple of baserunners. Ozzie Guillen, the "smart-ball" guy himself, pulled Buehrle just a little too late and replaced him with Mike F'ing McDougal and his 5.50 ERA, who promptly allowed the two baserunners to come around on a deep triple. There goes the nice ERA, there goes my win. Ozzie Guillen is an ass.

That was especially fun to watch given that you and I are right next to each other in ERA and WHIP so as his outing was going, stat-tracker was telling me I was having a terrible day, and then a few quick pitches from the Sox bullpen, and I'm back up to even for the day!

I don't know Caleb, I just don't see it in terms of the timing. Buerhle has always been able to go deep into games, and you aren't going to pull him after one baserunner and ~100 pitches. But the choice of Mike McDougal definitely was a poor one, especially when you have Aardsma in the pen who has been striking out around 11 per nine innings.

Aardsma is exactly what I was thinking. If Buehrle is cruising, I suppose I leave him in to finish the inning too. Really, I just want to take any opportunity I can get to bash Ozzie Guillen.

Don't knock him too much or else he'll call you a fucking faggot on national radio before backtracking and saying he doesn't really know what it means. Apparently he's a 5th grader and just uses the insults that the cool kids use.

Don't complain to Mr. Bill when you lose a game that your starter should have won. Especially if your guy isn't on Boston, Cleveland, or Anaheim. Even if you pitch against the Nationals and you play for, let's say, the Orioles you should expect to lose. Even if you strike out 12 in 7 innings and your f'ing bullpen gives up the game on base hits to Ryan Langerhans and Nook Logan you should have seen it coming.
